Welcome to Zayzin. This policy explains clearly and openly: what data we collect from you, how we use it, whom we share it with, and what your rights are regarding that data. Your use of the Zayzin site signifies your acceptance of this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who Are We?
Zayzin ("we", "us") is an Arabic platform for shopping, customization, and an online design editor, owned and operated by:

2. The Data We Collect
a. Data you provide to us
- Account information: your name, email, mobile number, profile picture (optional).
- Shipping information: full address, governorate, and a phone number for receiving the order.
- Payment information: card data is never stored with us. All payment transactions are processed via the certified Paymob gateway, which handles your sensitive data in accordance with PCI-DSS standards.
- Designs and content: any image, text, or design you upload to the editor or publish as a designer.
- Communications: any message you send to customer service, a comment, a review, or correspondence with another designer.
b. Data we collect automatically
- Technical data: browser type, operating system, IP address, device type (mobile/desktop).
- Usage data: the pages you visited, the products you viewed, session duration, and referral source.
- Cookies: small files on your device that help us remember you and improve your experience (details in Section 7).
- Approximate location data: based on IP address (governorate level only, not precise location).
c. Data from third parties
- Google/Facebook sign-in: we receive only your name, email, and profile picture from them.
- Shipping companies: they return the shipment status and tracking number to us.
- Paymob: returns the payment status (success/failure) to us without card details.
3. Why Do We Collect This Data?

4. Whom Do We Share Your Data With?
a. Essential service providers
- Paymob: to process payments.
- Shipping companies (Bosta, Aramex, or others): name, address, mobile number, order details — for delivery only.
- Server hosting provider: stores the database in encrypted form.
- Email provider (e.g., Resend / SendGrid): to send confirmation emails and notifications.
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel): anonymized usage data.
All of these are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the required service.
b. Designers on the Platform
If you buy a design from another designer, the designer does not see your personal data. They only see that a sale of theirs was completed successfully. Direct communication between you and the designer passes through Zayzin.
c. Legal authorities
If we are compelled by a formal court order from a competent authority (prosecution, court, or security agency), we disclose the requested data within the scope of the order only, and we notify you where the law permits.
d. Ownership transfers
In the event that Zayzin is sold or merged with another company, your data may transfer to the new owner, who is bound by the same level of protection. We will notify you in advance if this occurs.
5. Data Retention Period
- Account data: as long as the account is active + 30 days after a deletion request.
- Order and invoice data: 5 years (legally required for tax and accounting).
- Payment data: we do not retain it (stored with Paymob).
- Designs you uploaded: as long as your account is active, and deleted within 90 days of account deletion.
- Technical support records: two years.
- Cookies: depending on type (details in Section 7).
6. Your Rights Regarding Your Data
You have the following rights at any time:
- Access: request a complete copy of your data stored with us.
- Rectification: correct any inaccurate data from the "My Account" page.
- Erasure: request deletion of your account and data in full (subject to legal-obligation exceptions).
- Portability: request a copy of your data in JSON or CSV format.
- Objection: refuse the use of your data for marketing at any time.
- Withdrawal of consent: withdraw any prior consent to the processing of your data.
- Complaint: file a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Center in Egypt if you feel your rights have been violated.
How do you exercise your rights? Send an email to [email protected] from the same email registered to your account, specifying the right you wish to exercise. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies and Tracking
a. Essential cookies (cannot be disabled)

b. Optional cookies (you can decline them)
- Analytics: Google Analytics — to understand how we improve the site.
- Marketing: Facebook Pixel — to show you more relevant ads.
As soon as you enter the site, a banner will appear letting you choose which cookies you consent to. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie settings in the site footer.
8. The Security of Your Data
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- Encryption of the connection (HTTPS/TLS) on all site pages.
- Password encryption using bcrypt.
- Access permissions limited to staff on a need-to-know basis only.
- Continuous monitoring for suspicious activity.
- Regular backups of the database.
However: no security system is 100% complete. If you suspect your account has been compromised, notify us immediately and change your password.
9. Children
The Zayzin site is intended for individuals 18 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover an account belonging to a child, we will delete it immediately. If you are a guardian and discover that your child has registered with us, please contact us.
10. International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers (such as Google Analytics) are located outside Egypt. When your data is transferred to them, we ensure they comply with data protection standards equivalent to or higher than those applicable in Egypt.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material change via:
- An email to registered accounts
- A clear notice on the site for at least 30 days
Your continued use of the site after a change = acceptance of the new version.
